Ampol Publishing today announced the publication of If Only I Could . . . , a love story, by author Greg M. Sarwa.  This is Sarwa’s second book after earning finalist status for The Cattle in ForeWord Magazine’s Book of the Year Competition.

If Only I Could . . .  is a tale of love in the last stages of life.  Main characters John and Agatha reunite after years of separation due to mistakes and missed opportunities in their younger years.  John, terminally ill, is forced to live the remainder of his life in a nursing home and resents the daily monotony of life until one day he serendipitously encounters Agatha on the street.  As the one-time young lovers reacquaint themselves and explore their past experiences through flashbacks, they decide to give their romance another chance.  Fate steps in again when Agatha’s family learns that her son is actually John’s namesake.  If Only I Could . . . follows John and Agatha’s heartbreak as they deal with health, family, and their own emotions.

In If Only I Could . . . , Sarwa hopes to impart on readersthat real love has an eternal quality that surpasses even death. He also gives readers hope that it is never too late to redeem our mistakes by giving love another chance.
